Coach Marvin Menzies BIO
Coach Marvin Menzies, founder of M2 Squared Academy, has nearly four decades of basketball coaching experience and a commitment to developing young people on and off the court. His career includes head coaching roles at New Mexico State, UNLV, and Kansas City, five NCAA Tournament appearances at New Mexico State, and recognition as the 2023–24 Summit League Coach of the Year. His leadership emphasizes academic achievement, character, and relationships that support student-athletes throughout their lives.
Marvin founded M2 Squared after recognizing exceptional talent among African youth whose access to education, training, and exposure was limited. Drawing on his international network and experience developing players, he created a pathway that combines academic preparation, elite athletic development, mentoring, and global opportunities. His vision reaches beyond basketball: to help young people fully develop their abilities, pursue meaningful careers, strengthen their families, and become leaders who uplift their communities and generations to come.
